The series contains manuscripts of spiritual Christmas music, including original works as well as arrangements. The pieces are mostly vocal, particularly choir, with piano accompaniment. Other manuscripts include organ accompaniment as well as other instruments. Present is also a script for a Christmas program, as a presentation that could be performed along with the songs. Dates range from approximately 1974-1995.

The subseries contains manuscripts and scores written or arranged by Robert P. Manookin, both spiritual and secular songs. Also included are accompaniments for the piano and organ, as well as the harp and other string instruments. Occasionally present are manuscripts for brass and wind instruments. Dates range approximately 1951-1996.
