Scope and Contents note

Series contains a number of different items that were created in relation to the production of The Black Cauldron movie. Materials include official correspondence and illustration proofs between Lloyd Alexander and Walt Disney Company, articles and advertisements in magazines and newspapers, and memorabilia including coloring and cartoon books, a vinyl record, cardboard cutout, stickers, pins, and a video game.

Scope and Contents note Subseries includes a number of book manuscripts in various stages of creation, including beginning notes and ideas, multiple drafts, correspondence with publishers, layout proofs, reviews, and fan mail; and it includes some advance reading copies. Series is composed of items that are related to the personal life of Lloyd Alexander. Materials include photographs, miscellaneous publications and news clippings, personalized envelopes, dental advertisements written by Alexander, brochures and information from trips, personal notes and lists, miscellaneous correspondence, drawings and illustrations, World War II materials, writings and speeches, and other assorted materials.
