Materials contain a memoir of Ray P. Stratford's military experiences: his induction, training, and transfer to the European front. Describes patrol combat on the German border and the preparations and maneuvers conducted for the Allied assault on the Siegfried line. Recounts his unit's crossing of the Roer River in the Battle of the Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge). Discusses German prisoners-of-war and Russo-American relations at the war's end. Dated 2000-2001.
