File contains materials relating to the service of Thomas K. Bell in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Materials contain a photocopied photograph showing Bell in military dress, his medals, citations, and rank insignia. Also includes a short history of Destroyer Squadron 47 written by Roger C. Naylor. Discusses the histories of the nine destroyers within this group and the battles they engaged in, most notably the action they saw at Okinawa. Dated approximately 1993.
