Scope and Contents

Materials contain a memoir detailing H. Curtis Wright's early life and life in the U.S. Navy working as a blimp mechanic during World War II. Memoir is titled "My Two-year 'Kiddy Cruise' in the U.S. Navy, 1946-48". Also contains photocopied documents including a letter from General Omar Bradley to veterans, Wright's service record, his notice for separation, his honorable discharge certificate, and scholarly article on blimps.
