Scope and Contents

Contains a letter from Louisa May Alcott to a Mrs. Dodge. Alcott sends a story written by her thirteen-year-old cousin in hopes of finding a place for it in the "Children's Corner" of St. Nicholas. Regrets her inability to write a Christmas story for Mrs. Dodge. Dated December 31, approximately 1878. Also includes a transcription and a photocopy of the letter.
