Letter from George Q. Cannon to Martha Telle Cannon, in which George Q. Cannon discusses his excitement over the past week of debate in the House of Representatives. He writes to check up on his children and comments greatly regarding their schoolwork. This letter is written from Washington, D.C., and is incomplete. At least one page is missing.

Letter from George Q. Cannon to Martha Telle Cannon, in which George Q. Cannon talks of business in the House of Representatives, the implications of the upcoming presidential election, and the long-running session of Congress before adjournment. He also comments on the excitement of having Martha's parents move to Utah. Last, George Q. Cannon writes that he is grateful for the peace and safety that Zion offers, as well as a refuge from the evils of Babylon.
