The first few pages includes a description of his birth and early years in England with his family; emigration to Utah; and his early enrollment in Brigham Young Academy. The last two pages include additional information that had been ommitted, mostly referring to ordinance information, including baptism and priesthood. The majority of the volume includes nearly weekly entries from January 1880 to December 1883. Dated 1879-1883.
