Materials includes original excerpts from Orson F. Whitney's "History of Utah", published in the 1890s. The excerpts are about the Church's run-ins with the United States government in 1856 and mentions Camp Floyd as well as the militia. There are also originals and copies of transcriptions of correspondence about "History of Utah" and original documents about its publication. Dated approximately 1890-1898.
