Abstract This collection consists of personal correspondence, background and research materials relating to Dr. Smith's books, articles, histories, and miscellaneous items. The correspondence is primarily between Dr. Smith and his wife, Carol Kander Smith who was also a physician, and spans the years 1943-1954.
