Carol has to leave for a while to care for her elderly mother. William and Carol travel across the country on a church history tour. William's sister Luell agrees to be put in a rest home.

William's family helps Heather move into a new home with her children away from her husband. William's granddaughter Bayley falls out of a moving car, but receives minimal injuries. William and Carol welcome two new grandchildren.
