Dixie School scrapbooks and memorabilia, 1911-1998

Scope and Contents

Contains information on the founding of Dixie Normal School in 1911, through its split to Dixie College and Dixie High School in 1963, and on until 1998. Folders 2-5 contain a scrapbook of photographs, newspaper clippings, and stories written by Nellie and other members of the St. George community of the early days of Dixie Normal School. Also included are several commencement programs to Dixie State College and information on the Woodward buildings.

Santa Clara School scrapbooks, circa 1908-2005

Contains a scrapbook with information in regards to the early Santa Clara School and later Elementary school. Included in the scrapbook are a brief history of education in Santa Clara and a complete book of Santa Clara School history. The scrapbook is divided by grades and then by year. Scrapbook materials date from 1865 to 1990.
