Scope and Contents

Collection includes research materials created or acquired by Martha Sonntag Bradley for use in her publications: Pedestals & Podiums: Utah Women, Religious Authority & Equal Rights and Four Zinas: A Story of Mothers and Daughters on the Mormon Frontier. It also includes many documents pertaining to the International Women's Year, and the Equal Rights Amendment. These all discuss equal rights for women, the Mormon church and feminism, and the conference itself.

Scope and Contents Contains agendas for conferences, correspondence and memorandums, meeting minutes, lists of delegates and nominees, and other materials. All materials relate to the International Women's Year, on the state and national level. Included are articles on child care, aging, education, and other women's health issues. Files contain records of the individual's participation in the International Women's Year conferences, brochures on the conference, and articles pertaining to specific women's topics, such as abortion and child care.
