Scope and Contents

Printed book in French with a typewritten English translation. Part of the title page in French has been destroyed by fire. The translation was done in 1936 by Charlotte Harbin. The biography relates to the life and career of Marie Anne Lenormand (1772?-1843), an important prophetic spiritualist in France. Also inlcuded is a letter believed to have been written by Josephine, Empress of France and wife of Napoleon I, and a letter written by Lenormand and addressed to Louis Philippe, King of France.
