Biographical History

John Scott (1811-1876) was an early convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and missionary to the British Isles. His parents and siblings also converted to the Church and moved to the United States. After the death of Joseph Smith, John Scott immigrated to Utah while most of his family joined the Strangites in Wisconsin.
