Biographical History

Clyde Stanley Romney (1919-1986) was an accountant and ecclesastical leader in Provo, Utah.

Romney was born October 12, 1919 to Park and Mary Vilate Lee Romney in Cornish, Utah. In 1941, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the California Mission. In 1943, he served in World War II in the Seabees. He married Marion Young Romney in the Salt Lake Temple in 1943. He later settled in Provo, Utah, where he worked for U.S. Steel as an accountant. He served in the Church as a bishop and a stake clerk. Clyde Stanley Romney died December 17, 1986 in Provo.
