Scope and Contents
Photocopy of notes taken for a theology class taught by Joseph B. Keeler beginning in September 1893; and undated notes for a class on social etiquette. Also includes a print, negative, and photocopy, of a group photograph of Academy students, originally taken by A. D. Anderson of Provo, Utah, presumably in 1893. The theology class notes are mostly typewritten and were placed on pages so as to obscure earlier handwritten notes.

Biographical History
Student at Brigham Young Academy, 1889-1892, and again in the fall of 1893, when he was sent by his Latter-day Saint bishop to attend a Sunday School course.

Custodial History
Donor, a granddaughter of Orin A. Seager, sent items to Jeff McClellan at Brigham Young Magazine. Jeff, with donor's permission, forwarded them to University Archives, where they were received in January 2000. A note from the donor quotes the following information by Orin A. Seager: "I attended the grade schools of American Fork, Utah. At the age of seventeen I began a preparatory course at the Brigham Young Academy in Provo, graduating in the summer of 1892 in a business course. . . . In the fall of 1893 I was called by my bishop to pursue a Sunday School course at BYA."
