Biographical History

Henry Hottendorf was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served missions to the Hawaiian Islands and to Germany.

Henry Hottendorf was born November 2, 1852, in Ludingworth, Hannover, Germany, to Adolph Gustav and Anna Rebecca Hottendorf. He immigrated to the United States in 1876. He converted to the Mormon church in 1882. He was married to Katie McIntire on August 9th, 1883. In 1893 he served a mission in the Hawaiian Islands. He later served a mission to Germany. Henry Hottendorf died September 11, 1914, in Salt Lake County, Utah.
