Administrative History

The Central Milling Company (est. 1867) functions as one of the largest producers of organic flour in the United States.

The Central Milling Company was established in 1867 in Logan, Utah, and was a water-powered farmer's co-op. Today, the mill continues to use (unoriginal) period equipment from the 1920s in order to produce about 60 million pounds of flour a year from it's original location in Logan, Utah. The mill was purchased by Wheatland Seed of Collinston, Utah in the 1990s. The Central Milling company has specialized in organic flour since the 1970s, and is the oldest continuously operating business in the state of Utah.
