John Stockdale diary
Scope and Contents
Holograph diary. Stockdale started this record after hearing a talk from a Mormon Church leader suggesting that the members keep diaries. Stockdale's account is largely concered with his activities in the Mormon Church. He mentions meetings and often recounts what was said by various speakers. His entries are often short and there are many gaps in the record. Stockdale has also included some genealogical material relating to his family.
