Letters from J. L. Sharpe to his son Lewis. These items were sent from Philadelphia, PA. to Lewis when he was at boarding school in Laurenceville, New Jersey. They talk about family matters and often are attempts to encourage Lewis to work harder on his studies and to improve his conduct.
