Russel Brown Swensen (1902-1987) was a religious educator and historian in Utah. He was born September 14, 1902 in Pleasant Grove, Utah, to Swen Larsen Swensen and Susan Elizabeth Brown Swensen. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1922 to 1925. Swensen taught seminary for the Church in Mesa, Arizona, and later taught religion at Brigham Young University. He married Beulah Rosalia Strickler on June 1, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Russel Brown Swensen died July 3, 1987 in Provo, Utah.
Dale C. LeCheminant (b. 1927) is a religious educator and historian in Utah.
