Manuscript of the Mormon mission journal of Ralph Bay Hutchings, documenting his activities from February 12, 1986 to May 7, 1987. The journal covers nearly every day of service for Ralph and his wife, Jean, the first Mormon missionaries to serve in Zaire.

Biographical History
Ralph Bay Hutchings (b. 1917) was a physician in California. He was born 26 July 1917. He served in France as a young missionary and graduated from medical school. He presided over the France Toulouse Mission and served in Zaire, Africa, with his wife as a missionary.
