Administrative History

The Sunstone Symposium (1979- ) is an annual set of forums that invites Latter-day Saints to discuss various issues related to the Mormon faith.

The Sunstone Symposium is set up every year in Salt Lake City, Utah, by the Sunstone Education Foundation, the first taking place in 1979. The Foundation has established forums for different Latter-day Saints to come together and share stories, present research on different topics, and discuss social issues related to the Mormon faith. The Foundation has no official ties to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
