Collection contains the mission journal of William H. Blunck while he served in the Eastern Central States as an missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The collection contains the original diary, a transcript of the diary, and a cd which contains a scanned photograph, his obituary, and a digital copy of the journal transcript.

Biographical history
William H. Blunck (1906-1987) was a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 1930s.
William Hammon Blunck was born November 5, 1906, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Henry C. and Hedwig Staub Blunck. From 1933 to 1935, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the East Central States mission. He married Ruth Mae Henderson on January 21, 1936, and they had 3 children. William died on October 26, 1987.
