Collection includes research materials created or acquired by Martha Sonntag Bradley for use in her publications: Pedestals & Podiums: Utah Women, Religious Authority & Equal Rights and Four Zinas: A Story of Mothers and Daughters on the Mormon Frontier. It also includes many documents pertaining to the International Women's Year, and the Equal Rights Amendment. These all discuss equal rights for women, the Mormon church and feminism, and the conference itself.

Biographical History

Martha Sonntag Bradley (born 1951) is a professor in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Utah.

Born 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Martha Sonntag Bradley is a professor in the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She taught previously in the history department at Brigham Young University where she received the Distinguished Teaching Award. She has served as president of the Mormon History Association and co-editor of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought. She has published many journal articles and books, including Pedestals & Podiums: Utah Women, Religious Authority & Equal Rights.
