Harold Mecham papers
Scope and Contents
Collection includes correspondence between Harold Mecham and his cousin, Katherine Tobey of Roscoe, Calif. Many of his letters include drawings of his life and surroundings. Also included are a number of drawings and sketches by Mecham, as well as a collection of both hand crafted and commercial greeting cards.

Biographical History
Harold Bryan Mecham was born August 13, 1894 in San Bernardino, California. Over the course of his life he worked as a farmer and well-driller in the San Bernardino area. Mecham had two step-children, Hilda J. Davis and Joan M. Wisner. He died March 15, 1969 in San Bernardino.
