He states his disagreemnents with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joseph Smith, and other church leaders, as well as thoughts on gun ownership. Documents are titled House of Short. Dennis R. Short is an author on books regarding the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including "Questions on Plural Marriage," published in 1974, "Questions Frequently Asked Believers in the Fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ," published 1974, and "For [Wo]Men Only- The Lord's Law of Obedience," published in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1977.
