Biographical / Historical

Ruth Blanche Hatch Woodland was born to Lorenzo Lafayette Hatch and Annie Scarborough on August 3, 1883, in Franklin, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as well as the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Booklore Club. She married Daniel Peter Woodland on June 24, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died in Preston, Idaho on November 16, 1984, at the age of 101.
