Biographical / Historical

Thomas Christian Larson was born on March 2, 1880 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Thomas Christian Larson and Karen Marie Hansdatter Larson. He married Martha Teenie Worthen on June 22, 1904 in Springville, Utah. T. C. Larson worked as a photographer throughout his life. He was a partner in the firm Larson & Nygreen from 1916 to 1920. He partnered with L. D. Rollow in the Larson and Rollow Studio in 1922. He established the Larson Studio by 1924. His son O. Blaine Larson joined him in running the Larson Studio around 1929. They ran the studio together until T. C. Larson died on October 30, 1957 in Provo, Utah.

Custodial History

Donated by Dale Steele on behalf of the William George Steele Jr. Family in October 2020. The image was first acquired by William George Steele, who is pictured in the photograph. After his death in 1962, it was passed to his son, then to his wife, before being acquired by their son, Dale Steele.
