Biographical History

Scott Thompson is an Alaska based fine artist. Scott Thompson is an Alaska based fine artist who specializes in wood carvings and wildlife art. He is married to Joan Thompson and together they own Willow Creek Studio, based in Willow, Alaska. While Scott specializes in woodcarvings he also produces paintings, fur, jewelry and pottery.

Biographical History

Kristi A. Young is a retired folklorist and archivist in Utah. Bell attended the University of Northern Texas where she studied Library Science before continuing her education at Brigham Young University (BYU) where she received a Masters in English and Folklore. After graduation, she worked for BYU as the folklore archivist for the L. Tom Perry Special Collections until her retirement. Both during her time as a student and as a curator, Bell famously studied Mormon courtship--more specifically the phenomena of the creative dance "promposal". Kristi Bell is married to Jim Bell and together they have six daughters--Laura (deceased), Shannon, Dianna, Lindsay, Stephanie, and Dana. Since retirement, she has made several donations to the L. Tom Perry Special Collections.
