William Lawrence Hansen (1867-1941) was a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland and Germany in the late 19th Century.
William Lawrence Hansen was born May 22, 1867 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter Hansen and Roseanna Jenne Hansen. As a young man, he served as a missionary in the Swiss-German Mission in 1887-1890. During the years of 1908 to 1910 he returned to serve as a missionary again in the same region. Shortly after returning from his first mission, in 1890, he married Lena Strubberg (1872–1902). Shortly after Lena's death he married Elizabeth Wright Walker (1878-1967). He died in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 27, 1941.

Item found in the home of Thomas Copley in Coalville, Utah, when it was torn down. The album was then given to the Coalville Museum, who subsequently gave the album to the donor, Clara C. Shafer. It was originally believed that these photographs were of the Copley family. But further research into the identifications on the verso of some of these photographs, and the location of the various studios where they originated, points to these being a collection of photographs by a Will Hansen who was a missionary in the Swiss and German Mission in the late 1880s. Clara C. Shafer donated the materials to Brigham Young University on July 25, 2018.
