Muriel Joy Bradbury Fearnley writes her autobiography in journals and scrapbook form. The collection includes six (6) journals/scrapbooks written over a fifteen (15) year period from 1976 to 1991. She gives details of her early life in England, baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, information about family and friends, their move to the United States, naturalization, and life in Utah. Also included is a photocopy of volume II.

Biographical History

Muriel Joy Bradley Fearnley (1903-1998) wrote an autobiography detailing her life and immigration the the United States.

Muriel Joy Bradley Fearnley was born 30 Mar 1903 (according to the birth certificate in her first journal) in Bradford, Yorkshire, England to Fred and Florence Edith Herdman Bradbury. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 30 August 1913 by Elder Jedediah McKay.

Muriel Fearnley began writing her autobiography in journal/scrapbook form in 1976 at the age of 73. She gives details of her early life in England, family and friends and her subsequent move, naturalization, and life in Utah. Muriel Joy Bradley married George H. Fearnley 28 October 1931 in the Bierly Parish Church in England. They had two children, Lawrence and Diana Joy Fearnley. She immigrated to the United States in 1954 and became a naturalized citizen in 1968. Muriel Fearnley died 1 April 1998 in Provo, Utah.
