Scope and Contents

Collection includes twelve sound reels containing interviews of either descendants of early settlers in the Utah Territory, such as Wallace Clay, or Utah historians, like Juanita Brooks. The interviews are oral histories that were used as part of Conley's master's thesis, published in 1976. Each reel includes one person's story, with the exception of reel number nine, which contains two interviews. Dated 1974-1975.

Biographical History

Don C. Conley was a researcher.

Don C. Conley received a Master of Arts degree in the Department of Asian Studies from Brigham Young University after completing his thesis, "The Pioneer Chinese of Utah." The thesis was completed, signed, and published in 1976. Conley currently resides in San Francisco, California.
