Contains reel-to-reel audio tape recordings of Howard Tayler's original compositions that were recorded in Provo, Utah as part of the Brigham Young University's final recording projects class (Music 355R-recording workshop) between the dates 1990-1992, and original printed and written manuscripts spanning the same dates.

Biographical History

Howard V. Tayler (1968-) is an award-winning creator of the successful webcomic "Schlock Mercenary."

Born in Florida, Tayler moved to Utah in 1985 to attend Brigham Young University where he earned a bachelor's degree in music composition. Where he went on to co-found an independent record label called "Sanctus Records" which was aimed primarily to an Latter-day Saint market.

In 2000, Tayler began publishing his webcomic "Schlock Mercenary." Four years later, Tayler left his job as product line manager at Novell to work full time on the webcomic.

Tayler has also co-authored the guidebook "Administering GroupWise 5.5," illustrated and published "XDM X-Treme Dungeon Mastery," produces "Writing Excuses" that has run weekly since 2008.
