Collection includes slides taken by Ralph W. Hansen, which show the archives in these early years. Also enclosed is a piece of the goal post of BYU's first football game win against University of Utah, when at the conclusion of the game, the goal posts were torn down by BYU students.

Biographical / Historical

Ralph W. Hansen was a manuscripts librarian at Brigham Young University, and founded the university archives in 1956.
