Biographical / Historical
Lewis Mecham was born in Salem, Pennsylvania in 1835. He later settled in Utah where he worked as a farmer. He died in Wallsburg, Utah in 1907.

Esther Herbert Mecham was born in Bunker Hill, Ill. in 1851. She married Lewis Mecham in 1868, and together they had thirteen children. She died in Wallsburg, Utah, in 1934.
