Scope and Contents

Contains black-and-white photographs of a Brigham Young University sponsored art group on a tour to sites associated with Mormon Church history. The tour was under the direction of B. F. Larsen. George Strebel served as photographer and bus driver. Sites included: Nauvoo, Illinois; Carthage Jail, Illinois; Winter Quarters/Florence, Nebraska; Maxwell, Nebraska; Platte River/Bridgeport, Nebraska; Summit, Wyoming; Fort Laramie, Wyoming; Independence Rock, Wyoming; Ft. Bridger, Wyoming; Garden Grove, Iowa; Elkhorn River/Omaha, Nebraska; Guernsey, Wyoming; Martin's Cove, Wyoming; Church Butte, Wyoming; Mt.
