Collection includes photographs and corresponding safety film negatives of of Colonia Juarez, Mexico and of Mexican revolutionary forces. Photographs were taken by the Stowell family between 1902 and 1912.

Biographical / Historical
The Stowell family, led by William Rufus Rogers Stowell, settled in Mormon settlement of Colonia Juarez, Mexico. The family was forced out of the country during the Mexican Revolution, and settled in Arizona.
