Submitted by BYU student Sydney Jordan about Americans' obsession with health advice during pregnancy. Includes a cover essay, autobiographical sketch, informants (pregnant women) giving and receiving advice from various sources, such as doctors, parents, older friends, as well listing the advice they actually followed, or why they didn't follow it. Also includes modern myths and fads about pregnancy (2010) and information about WIC (Women, Infants and Children). Prepared for her Spring 2010 English 392 course, under Prof. Jill Rudy.
