Scope and Contents note

This project is a collection of stories told by the Wilkinson Center Building custodial crew at BYU. The analysis describes the collection as a contribution to occupational folklore, and comments on the specific language of the custodial workers, group stories, humor, pranks, and work parties. The items collected include stories told about the Wilkinson Center, including: Mixing Table Carts at EFY, The Orange Elevator, Janae of the Ladder, Punching-fest, and several others. Also includes several pictures of photos of the workers and and the working environment at Wilkinson Custodial. Collected by Karen Elizabeth Porter, Dr. Thurby's ENGL 356 class, Fall 2008.
