Scope and Contents note

Yocom discusses the historical and social importance that quilt making has played in the lives of women throughout the centuries. Citing several historic examples, she analyzes the folklore that results from the process of learning to make a quilt as well as the stories behind the quilts themselves. Created by Sandra Yocom while enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 class during winter semester 2006.
