Scope and Contents
Submitted by BYU student C. Janean McPolin for his/her Fall 1969 English 391 class. A collection of epitaphs from Provo, Heber, and Springville in Utah. Contains a cover essay and collected epitaphs. Genres of epitaphs include those lauding the virtue of the dead, epitaphs spoken by voices from the dust, grief and sadness, peace and rest, afterlife, hope of an afterlife, and hope of a glorious resurrection.
