Submitted by BYU student David G. McLellan for his Winter 1976 English 392 class. A collection of missionary stories from David E. Summers, who served in Illinois. Contains a cover essay, autobiographical sketch, informant abstract and informant stories. Stories include initiation rites such as a "phony" transfer, the numbered prayers, the jealous husband, famous missionaries that included Peter James and Curly, elders who participated in a race and got in trouble, two Elders who tried to see an X-rated movie, elders getting caught by newsreels or movies, unauthorized trips, misinterpreting Miami Ohio for Miami Florida, accidently killing a cat, and other missionary stories.
