Item contains four personal inscriptions ranging from 1857-1929 as it was presented to various Teasdale family members. The inscriptions are as follows: (1) from Frances M. Brown to her sister Emily E. Teasdale in May 1857, (2) from Emily E. Teasdale to her son George E. Teasdale on September 7, 1870, and (3) from George E. Teasdale to his daughter June E. Teasdale for her sixteenth birthday on June 21, 1916. June E. Teasdale died in 1920, and George E. Teasdale regained possession of the book. The fourth and final inscription is from George E. Teasdale to his other daughter Vera Teasdale Nelson on July 17, 1929.
