Autograph letter, from Katie’s father to Katie, the “malicious attack on the book and myself by an editor of Nature, Harry wants to do some traveling in India and other places when he leaves Bombay, “Nature” is “fanatical Darwinism . . . every attempt at criticizing Darwin is in their eyes unendurable heresy,” 4 pp., 24 October 1902; also encloses his reply to Nature, “it seems rather behind the age to substitute scientific for ecclesiastical bigotry,” 3 pp.
