Scope and Contents
Letter from Archibald Morrison, while in Eaton Hall, near Norwich, to John K. Kane, relates some of the events from the visit of one of Kane’s sons (probably Thomas L. Kane, during his travels in England and France), his (the son’s) foot healing “steadily,” his son said of John, “A more elegant gentleman, a truer friend, a more honourable man is not to be found in America,” dated October 27, 1840.
