Includes two letters from B.L. to Florence B. Kane in Westchester, Pennsylvania. The first letter, gives advice to Florence about her idea of teaching, dated May 2, 1887. The second letter, written while in New York, offers more advice, she should get experience before trying to teach on her own, dated May 10, 1887. Envelope also included.
