Scope and Contents

Letter from Young to Arrowpeen [Arrapeen, a Ute Indian leader] copy, they want the "good Indians" to bring in Tintic and all the "bad Indians," he wants all the Utahs to stop killing cattle and stealing, Bishop Snow can't give the Indians the goods he has without permission from the agent, Dr. Hurt, he wants them to settle down and make their own living, dated July 28, 1856.
