Scope and Contents
Materials include a letter from Catharine Schuyler to her niece Elizabeth Wood Kane (Thomas L. Kane's wife). Catharine says she is anxious to hear from Elisha (Elisha Kent Kane) about the climate in Cuba, and she has a question for Tom (Thomas L. Kane) about politics and current events in the United States. No year on item. In the letter Elizabeth is addressed as Bessie. Dated December 17, approximately 1831.
